Beginning with an epistolary essay between the author and a member of Portugal’s largest family (the Martins from Drave), Cantos develops a discourse on sociology, ethnography and family law. An essay that explores matters intrinsic to large families as a (non-)ideal social model. The book was designed for friends and members of his own (large) family.
